What is the first thing that you do when you build your BANS / amazon or ebay store (this may through build a niche store or simply a blog plug-in)? Most people think ‘aha time for an ezine article’ or ‘time for a squidoo lens’ to promote my new site!!

Whilst these are effective ways to create your back links back to your site and should be encouraged, there are much easier way to gain high authority back links to your site and they are simple. They don’t include any sort of back link or blog spamming and are all truly white hat.

Let’s start of by showing you an easy way to find high authority ‘edu’ and ‘gov’ back links that ‘google’ , ‘yahoo’ and ‘bing’ just loooove… This should be part of your linking strategy i you want to get ranked fast and stay ranked.

Let’s start off by opening your web browser and going to our old trusted friend ‘www.google.com’

What we want to do here is find some themed blogs that have similar content to ours. Note that this isn’t as important as lot’s of the ‘gurus’ make out and back links from ANY high PR ranking site will raise your rank in google.

Now take your main keywords for your site. I will use the keywords from one of my stores ‘handheld ds’ (note the number 1 site thats mine).

Now take the keywords and add the following to them.

<<Keywords>+inurl:blog site:.edu

Note here we are searching for ‘blog’ sites with an extension of .edu.. So for this search I have

handheld ds+inurl:blog site:.edu

You now have a ‘Powerful’ List of .edu sites to build some back links from.. Note that the secret here isn’t to simply SPAM the sites (this will just get your link removed and waste you time). Leave a quality comment related to the topic.

ie. Don’t just leave a comment such as –> great post.. OR interesting read .. find more at <<blog.com>>

A good comment will keep your backlink for ever…

But you may want more links.. So what do you do?? Well your in luck here because I’m going to show you

In the google search your simply replace the inurl tag ie.

+inurl:wordpress

+inurl:vbbulletin

If you want to find other powerful site types then you simply replace the ‘site:.edu’ with the following

To find ‘gov’ sites use – site:.gov

To find ‘mil’ sites use – site:.mil

It’s a simple as that..

This is the techniques I use to build my list of sites to use within my link building strategy.

But what about the time taking to create all of the links?

You 2 options here… the first is to manual create each back link to your site by hand..

The second (and the way I create them extremely fast with minimal typing) is to use automation software..

I been using an excellent tool called ‘SEO Link Dominator’ and it’s a private tool that was released into a linking service group of which I am part of. We test different link strategies and software products to see what works and basically what is a pile of pooo.. and not worth the time of day.

This is one of the tools that is easy to use and has produced unbelievable result for all sites it was tested on. Unfortunately for the like of myself and the group I belong to the developer has decided to release this to the public for the time later this month.
